Build and enhance Engine by Starling’s banking platform and internal tools as part of a collaborative engineering team. Graduate engineers will develop configurable features and products, own projects, solve real-world technical challenges, contribute quality code, and learn through feedback. The role uses technologies including Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Swift, Kotlin, Docker, Kubernetes, TeamCity, and AWS.

Serve as the senior technical advisor for strategic ANZ financial institution clients. Drive platform adoption, client success plans, executive relationships, QBRs, defect and change management, major incident resolution, API and product change implementation, and client feedback into the product roadmap. Mentor regional teams, localize global customer success practices, and participate in an international on-call rotation.

Design and communicate client solutions for Engine by Starling, supporting sales, implementation, delivery, and ongoing client success. Lead technical designs, integrations, documentation, and stakeholder relationships with clients and systems integrators. Translate client requirements into technical solutions, collaborate with Product and Engineering teams on roadmap decisions, troubleshoot technical issues, and guide client engineering teams through APIs, specifications, and architecture documentation. The role requires substantial travel across Australia, New Zealand, and occasionally internationally.
