Teams at Supabase

Provide advanced technical support for Supabase and PostgreSQL, investigating customer issues across databases, authentication, storage, realtime services, edge functions, and client libraries. Reproduce bugs, identify root causes, advise customers on performance and architecture, support migrations, escalate actionable issues to engineering, improve documentation and tooling, and mentor junior support staff. Requires fluent Japanese and English communication and availability during Japan business hours.

Build and automate cloud cost optimization and governance across AWS and GCP. Analyze billing and usage, identify and implement savings, maintain cost attribution, create reporting and anomaly detection, and write Python, Terraform, and Lambda automation. Partner with Engineering, Finance, Product, and leadership on architecture tradeoffs, forecasting, budgeting, and cost accountability.

Design, build, and operate Supabase’s global edge and networking infrastructure, including routing, load balancing, DNS, WAF, TLS termination, CDN integrations, and observability. Improve latency, reliability, security, and cost efficiency across cloud regions. The role includes developing automated routing systems and CI/CD, troubleshooting distributed systems, participating in on-call and incident response, and collaborating with infrastructure and product teams.
