Design, develop and deploy server-side components and real-time data feeds using Java/J2EE/EJB. Ensure database performance, reliability, security and availability. Develop, monitor and optimize EJB and other server-side components while following SDLC practices and contributing to system architecture.

Manage end-to-end implementations: run kickoff and information-gathering meetings, plan and track projects, document client requirements, train users, create specifications for development, coordinate with third-party providers, and support sales with scoping and pre-sales questions.

Implement and configure software systems including server and database setup, customizations, integration and testing. Work with clients and vendors, enforce security/access, support development, and travel for implementations as needed.

Manage software configuration and change control across development, test, and production environments. Maintain build configurations and CI artifacts, deploy scripts and code, provision customer/product environments, and collaborate with Development and Service Delivery teams to support releases.

Lead and execute design, migration and build-out of core LAN and switching infrastructure for a data-centre relocation. Plan and raise changes, implement layer 2/3 fibre switching, configure routing protocols, ensure fault tolerance, test and sign off, assist DR client migrations and minimise user impact.

Lead and execute a federal datacentre relocation: design and implement IP/X.25 networks, layer 2/3 fibre and core switching, configure WAN/LAN hardware, manage OSPF/BGP/NAT/VLANs, support VoIP/PABX, create migration plans and test/signoff, and produce technical/operational documentation.
