Lead and advance machine learning research and teaching as a professorial lead. Set research direction across deep learning, NLP, data science and theoretical foundations; mentor staff and HDR candidates; develop curriculum; build industry, employer and government partnerships; and promote responsible, trustworthy AI with impact beyond academia.

Lead design and governance of secure, scalable cyber solution architecture across platforms and cloud. Embed secure-by-design, align solutions to enterprise architecture, ensure compliance with security frameworks, evaluate emerging threats, influence roadmaps, produce assurance documentation, and uplift cyber maturity through governance and stakeholder engagement.

Translate university stakeholder needs into practical, secure AI solutions. Identify and prioritise generative and agentic AI use cases, define requirements, success measures and solution pathways. Collaborate with technical, data, IT, governance and business teams to ensure feasibility, security and alignment with enterprise architecture. Support AI portfolio, literacy, workshops and governance to enable safe, responsible adoption across curriculum, research and operations.

Design, develop, test, deploy and support secure, scalable AI solutions (generative and agentic AI, automation and workflows) using Microsoft and Azure technologies. Lead technical design, prototyping, integration, testing, documentation, and operational support while embedding responsible AI, privacy, security and governance controls and collaborating with stakeholders across the university.

Provide technical leadership to design, develop, deploy and operate secure, scalable generative and agentic AI solutions across the university. Work with stakeholders to identify use cases, assess feasibility, prototype, and deliver AI-enabled solutions while embedding responsible AI, privacy, cybersecurity, data governance, testing, monitoring and documentation.

Lead teaching, curriculum innovation and student success across law programs; maintain an established research profile, secure funding, supervise HDR candidates, mentor colleagues, contribute to governance, and build partnerships with industry, government and community to advance the School's mission.

Lead business analysis across multiple strategic projects: gather, validate and prioritise requirements; engage stakeholders; contribute to solution design, implementation and change adoption; champion BA practices; support benefits realisation, governance, privacy, security and mentor junior analysts.

Support an AI-assisted urban heat research project through data collection, laboratory work, data processing, literature/database searches, reporting, and preparing stakeholder presentation materials under general direction.

Coordinate and implement marketing and communications initiatives to raise NICM Health Research Institute's profile. Produce media, digital, social, website, newsletter and promotional content; manage media relations, events, stakeholder engagement and promotional resources; translate complex health research for diverse audiences and report on communications performance to support funding, partnerships and impact.
