Job Description
The Opportunity:
We are currently looking for a Aboriginal Participation Manager to manage and oversee the implementation of the Aboriginal Participation Plan for our upcoming projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement and oversee the Aboriginal Participation Plan (APP), including tracking and reporting on key metrics
Work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams in a large project environment to manage and ensure direct and subcontractor compliance with project Aboriginal Participation targets
Ensure program delivery complies with appropriate policies and Legislation
Effectively engage and manage multiple community and stakeholder groups to drive Aboriginal participation through both ACCIONA and subcontractor workforces
Develop project implementation plans and manage data, reports and related information to facilitate project administration and contract compliance
Explore all opportunities for State and Federal funding to support agreed Aboriginal participation initiatives under the Plan
Required Skills and Competencies
5 years’ experience in community positions, including program design, delivery, and engagement
Experience in delivery of education programs and ability to engage with a wide range of audiences
Demonstrated experience in community development and/or community engagement with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples
Demonstrated project management skills, including sound knowledge and experience in planning, delivery and reviewing programs, and ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
Demonstrated experience engaging and building strong and trusting relationships with a range of industry and community stakeholders
Deep understanding of the Aboriginal Procurement Policy
