Job Description

We are seeking an Academic Support Officer to join the team at our Nathan campus. Please note that from February 2027 (the anticipated relocation) this position will move to the Brisbane City (CBD).

This role provides a high level of administrative support within the Learning and Teaching portfolio, to ensure effective course management for Griffith Business School.

The Academic Support Officer is responsible for supporting a broad range of course administration activities and processes including, but not limited to, the management of enrolments, course profile generation and review, academic administration for minor and major course changes, timely provision of course information, and support for Course Convenors.

Working within a designated Program cluster, this role works in collaboration with the Program Support Officers, to drive processes and administrative course support to Departments, Program Directors and Advisors, Course Convenors, and academic staff.

  • A high-level of attention to detail
  • Experience with data entry, management and reporting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Preferred: Experience working with a Curriculum Management System

What we can offer
This is a continuing, full-time position where you will initially be based at Brisbane South (Nathan). From February 2027 (the anticipated relocation), your primary work location will be Brisbane CBD – the date of the relocation is yet to be determined.

As Griffith is a multi-site University you may be required to work across other locations.

Salary Range
Base Salary Hew 5 in the range of $82,415 - $92,456 per annum plus 17% Superannuation. The salary including superannuation is in the range $96,426 -$108,174 per annum.

Qualifications

  • The occupant will possess relevant tertiary qualifications and subsequent work experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education and training.
