About the role
Academic Teachers at UOW College Australia are responsible for delivering high professional standards of teaching and supporting students’ academic progression.

Responsibilities typically include:

  • Delivering classes in line with approved syllabi, subject outlines and academic standards
  • Preparing and documenting lessons and learning materials in the prescribed format
  • Completing assessment and marking associated with timetabled teaching
  • Maintaining accurate records of student attendance, assessment and performance
  • Providing timely feedback and academic guidance to students
  • Referring students to appropriate support services when required
  • Working collaboratively with Subject Coordinators, Program Managers and College staff
  • Participating in moderation, quality assurance and continuous improvement activities
  • Maintaining compliance with academic policies, procedures and regulatory requirements

About you
