Day to day:

  • You will be responsible for managing the onboarding, training, and continued growth of a key broker network onto the platform.
  • You will be responsible for expanding adoption of our offering across the broker network, developing relationships, executing specific growth strategies and exploring new business opportunities with the broker group.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of our products and value proposition and promote these to new and existing brokers.
  • Plan and oversee marketing initiatives relating to relationship management and growth.
  • Attend conferences, meetings & industry events.
  • Responsible for the maintenance and operation of internal broker management tools, and broker recognition programs

Role:

You will manage an assigned portfolio of brokerages and the business they place through BizCover for Brokers. As their go-to contact for all service and support needs, you will build strong relationships, understand their priorities and take ownership of requests through to resolution.

This is primarily a service and relationship management role, supporting day-to-day transactions while strengthening engagement, retention and platform usage within your portfolio. Where specialist input is required, you will coordinate internal support and remain the broker’s key contact throughout.

What you will do

  • Manage relationships with brokerage principals, brokers and account teams across your portfolio, maintaining regular, proactive contact.
  • Support new business, quotations, referrals, renewals, amendments, endorsements and cancellations, responding to phone and email enquiries within agreed service levels.
  • Own broker requests through to resolution, coordinating with underwriting and internal teams, keeping brokers informed and following up outstanding information, payments and actions.
  • Help brokers navigate the platform, troubleshoot issues and understand available products and insurer options.
  • Onboard new brokerages allocated to your portfolio, including account set-up, platform demonstrations and training.
  • Process or coordinate requests accurately, maintain current broker, policy and activity records, and follow relevant procedures and compliance requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen relationships, retain business and help your brokerages place more business through the platform.
  • Share broker feedback to improve service and processes, and support communications, training and campaigns relevant to your portfolio.

Travel is expected to attend key broker and insurer conferences and events, supporting relationships with your assigned brokerages and insurer partners


Requirements
  • Experience in an account executive, broker assistant, insurance support, customer service or relationship-based role.
  • Knowledge of general insurance products and processes; SME insurance or broker-channel experience is preferred.
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills, including a confident, professional phone manner.
  • The ability to manage competing requests across a portfolio, with strong organisation, attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Confidence using digital platforms and internal systems, with a willingness to learn and build technical knowledge.
  • A proactive, collaborative approach, sound judgement and the ability to recognise when specialist support or escalation is needed.
