Job Description SummaryWe are looking for a strategic Account Manager to lead the commercial relationship for our Gas Power Services portfolio in Australia. You will act as the primary interface between our customers and our technical teams, driving growth and ensuring operational excellence across critical energy assets.

As Australia transitions its energy landscape, gas power remains a vital pillar for grid stability. You will be the trusted advisor to our customers, leveraging deep technical insights to manage long-term outage planning and ensure our service solutions deliver maximum value.

What you’ll do:

  • Customer Advocacy: Act as the primary commercial point of contact; translate customer requirements into actionable solutions for our internal engineering and service teams.
  • Strategy & Growth: Lead account planning and drive a robust opportunity pipeline. You will be responsible for mapping 24–36 month outage cycles and closing complex deals.
  • Performance Monitoring: Use fleet data to identify growth opportunities and ensure project/opportunity information remains accurate and current.
  • Negotiation: Partner with Commercial Operations to lead deal closures and handle competitive pursuits with a focus on value-selling.

What you’ll bring:

  • Experience: At least 7–8+ years in account management within the power, renewables, or heavy industrial sectors.
  • Sales Acumen: 3+ years in a customer-facing role with a proven ability to manage and identify long cycle new business opportunities independently.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or Marketing from a local or internationally recognised university or education institution.
  • The "Edge": Experience with gas turbine services or power plant maintenance is a distinct advantage.
