We are looking for an Accountant to join our team in GWS. This role will be involved in providing professional accounting services to a diverse range of clients, family owned businesses to significant global entities. This role will provide you exposure to numerous clients across a broad range of industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare a range of financial statements in accordance with regulatory, accounting and financial reporting standards;

  • Prepare clear and concise work papers;

  • Perform tax planning for clients;

  • Prepare tax returns for all entities including income tax, FBT, Business Activity Statements;

  • Quarterly and annual tax compliance matters;

  • Preparation of management accounts;

  • Prepare advice for clients in relation to business operations and regulatory matters;

  • General business administration.

About You

You will also be:

  • CA or CPA Qualification or partly completed;

  • 2 to 3 years of Business Services or Tax experience (ideally from a mid-tier sized firm);

  • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills;

  • Demonstrated analytical/problem solving ability;

  • Ability to multitask and effectively manage individual and team workflow;

  • Self-motivated; takes responsibility for personal and professional development;

  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to work;

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office: Word/Excel/Outlook;

  • Xero (desired).
