The Role
BGIS is seeking an experienced Accounts Manager to join our Technical Trade Services division in Sydney. Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery and overall management of assigned client contracts, ensuring operational excellence, strong financial performance, and exceptional customer outcomes.
 
This role is ideal for a motivated leader with experience managing technical services, or integrated service contracts. You will oversee service delivery, manage client relationships, lead operational teams, coordinate subcontractors, and drive continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring contractual, compliance, and financial targets are achieved.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Lead the delivery of assigned client contracts, ensuring all contractual obligations and KPIs are achieved
  • Manage contract budgets, forecasting, invoicing, variations, margins, and overall financial performance
  • Oversee the delivery of integrated facilities, maintenance, project, and property services
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Provide leadership, coaching, mentoring, and support to operational and contract teams
  • Manage the performance of suppliers and subcontractors to ensure quality, safety, and compliance standards are met
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery outcomes
  • Ensure compliance with BGIS governance requirements, contractual obligations, and relevant legislation
  • Oversee HSEQ performance, including risk management, inspections, incident reporting, and corrective actions
  • Prepare and present client reports, budgets, forecasts, meeting minutes, and contract documentation
  • Support tender submissions, additional works proposals, and contract variations
  • Build strong relationships across BGIS operational, commercial, finance, and support teams
 
Your Education, Experience & Skills
  • Demonstrated experience managing facilities management, property management, corporate real estate, or integrated services contracts
  • Proven ability to manage trade service delivery across both internal trades teams and external subcontractors
  • Strong commercial and financial management experience, including budgeting, forecasting, margin management, and business planning
  • Demonstrated experience managing client relationships and delivering agreed contractual outcomes
  • Experience leading and developing operational or contract teams
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and relationship management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and other business systems
  • Experience working within quality, safety, and environmental management systems
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Property, Facilities Management, Business, Commerce, Project Management, or a related discipline (preferred)
  • Experience with CMMS systems and integrated service delivery models (desirable)
  • Australian working rights (essential)
