The opportunity

This is an exceptional opportunity for a Senior Actuarial professional to join one of Australia’s leading insurers in the role of Senior Actuarial Analyst across our Workers Compensation product.

We are seeking people to:

  • Managing end to end actuarial valuation processes and statutory reporting deliverables for the Workers Compensation Portfolio

  • Working as a critical member of the QBE actuarial modernisation journey

  • Key stakeholder engagement, developing trusted actuarial business partnerships to support business stakeholders to meet objectives through quality analytics and provision of information

  • Collaborating with other analytical professionals across the organisation

Your story so far

  • You have completed the Actuaries Institute’s Part II course or are a nearly qualified Actuary.

  • Your experience will include proven Actuarial expertise within General Insurance, whether this be in reserving or pricing, and are ready to take the next step in your career with a leading global insurer known for providing career development and progression opportunities.

  • You have exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills and an ability to generate outside of the box creative solutions rather than following precedence. You will also have strong communication skills (both written and verbal) and can utilise these to liaise with stakeholders at varying levels across the business to influence best practice outcomes.
