The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the ongoing evolution of pricing at QBE. As an Actuarial Analyst in the Consumer Private Motor Pricing team, you’ll support the end‑to‑end pricing process and help deliver meaningful outcomes for the business.

Your new role
This is an exciting opportunity where you'll have the chance to be a part of a pricing evolution at QBE. As an Actuarial Analyst within the Consumer Private Motor Pricing team, you will be part of actioning the pricing process from end to end to generate tangible benefits for QBE. In this role, you’ll be involved in technical pricing reviews, contribute to projects which include modernisation initiatives and work closely with key stakeholders to provide meaningful analysis.
A day in the role may include:
- Providing insightful analysis across product, segment, channel, and overall business profitability.
- Assessing pricing impacts and developing price recommendations for the business.
- Supporting premium adequacy through data extraction, modelling, price setting, and monitoring.
- Contributing to the ongoing evolution of rating algorithms.
- Working closely with the business, finance, and valuations teams to deliver key requirements.

About you
To be successful in this role, you’ll bring:
- A tertiary qualification in Mathematics, Science, Data Science, Business, Actuarial Studies, or Computer Science.
- The ability to clearly communicate analysis and insights to a broad range of stakeholders.
- A proactive, self‑directed approach with strong problem‑solving skills.
- Familiarity with Earnix, Emblem, Radar, Python and/or Databricks will be advantageous (but not essential).
- Some Actuarial experience in General Insurance (preferred).
