The role

An opportunity is now available for a proactive and detail-oriented Administration Assistant to support our teams at our Geochemistry site in Zillmere.

In this role, you will be responsible for the smooth day-to-day administration of the office, efficient data processing, and providing frontline support to clients and staff.

This is a pivotal role, so we are looking for someone who can turn their hand to anything and proactively plan ahead.

This is a full-time role, working Monday to Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:15 PM.

The day to day

The successful applicant will undertake a range of duties, including the following:

  • Attending to telephone and face-to-face enquiries

  • Ensuring the efficient administration of all aspects of the office

  • Prioritizing data entry and reporting tasks

  • Developing a strong understanding of ALS procedures and work instructions

  • Liaising with internal and external clients

  • Managing invoicing and financial administration

  • Liaising with couriers and arranging collections

  • Complying with all WHS requirements and identifying any unsafe work practices

  • Ordering consumables and stationery

  • Organizing office events
