The role
An opportunity is now available for a proactive and detail-oriented Administration Assistant to support our teams at our Geochemistry site in Zillmere.
In this role, you will be responsible for the smooth day-to-day administration of the office, efficient data processing, and providing frontline support to clients and staff.
This is a pivotal role, so we are looking for someone who can turn their hand to anything and proactively plan ahead.
This is a full-time role, working Monday to Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:15 PM.
The day to day
The successful applicant will undertake a range of duties, including the following:
Attending to telephone and face-to-face enquiries
Ensuring the efficient administration of all aspects of the office
Prioritizing data entry and reporting tasks
Developing a strong understanding of ALS procedures and work instructions
Liaising with internal and external clients
Managing invoicing and financial administration
Liaising with couriers and arranging collections
Complying with all WHS requirements and identifying any unsafe work practices
Ordering consumables and stationery
Organizing office events
