Griffith Business School is seeking an experienced and highly organised Administration Officer to support the delivery of an exciting education program for one of our valued clients, Queensland Treasury Corporation.

Job Description

Working within the GBS Engagement Portfolio, you will join a collaborative and dynamic team responsible for delivering high-quality executive and professional education programs. This is an opportunity to contribute to a significant and growing program, work closely with a broad range of stakeholders, and help shape the systems and processes that support successful delivery.

Reporting to the Executive Officer, you will play a central role in coordinating the QTC Education Program from planning through to delivery and evaluation. You will ensure that participants, facilitators, clients and internal stakeholders receive timely, professional and consistent support.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • coordinating program schedules, facilitators, stakeholders, meetings and delivery activities
  • managing participant information, program records and communications
  • supporting travel arrangements, diaries, workshops, events and program logistics
  • preparing correspondence, reports, presentations, agendas, minutes and project documentation
  • processing invoices, payments, procurement and other financial transactions
  • maintaining databases, online systems and digital content
  • tracking actions, deadlines and deliverables across multiple program activities
  • reviewing and improving administrative systems, processes and workflows
  • responding to enquiries and building positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • contributing to Griffith Advantage and other engagement projects as required.

This role provides the opportunity to work across the full program lifecycle and make a meaningful contribution to how our programs are coordinated, delivered and continuously improved.

About you

You are a proactive and capable administration professional who enjoys bringing structure, clarity and momentum to a busy working environment.

You will be comfortable managing competing priorities, following through on actions and working with a degree of independence. You understand that strong administration is more than completing tasks. It is about anticipating what is needed, keeping people informed and ensuring that the experience is professional from beginning to end.

You will bring:

  • demonstrated experience providing high-quality administrative or project support
  • strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines and stakeholders
  • confidence using digital systems, databases and Microsoft Office applications
  • clear and professional written and verbal communication skills
  • sound judgement and the ability to identify issues and recommend practical solutions
  • a commitment to responsive, participant-focused service
  • the ability to work collaboratively while taking ownership of your responsibilities
  • experience improving administrative processes and systems
  • experience with finance, procurement, reporting or event coordination, or the ability to learn these areas quickly.

What we can offer

This is a fixed-term opportunity (until 31/05/2028), based at Brisbane South (Nathan). As Griffith is a multi-site University you may be required to work across other locations.

HEW 5 Salary – Base range - $82,415- $92,456+ 17% super. Full package range is - $96,426 - $108,174.
