About the Role

The Advancement Services Specialist (CRM & Insights) plays a critical role in supporting the systems, data, reporting and insights that underpin the University’s alumni engagement and fundraising programs. As the specialist lead for Raiser's Edge NXT and related technologies, you will ensure data integrity, deliver meaningful analysis and reporting, and help drive innovation through the responsible adoption of AI and emerging technologies. Your work will directly support strategic decision-making and strengthen the University's engagement with alumni, donors and partners.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead the administration, optimisation and continuous improvement of Raiser's Edge NXT and Advancement technology platforms.

  • Ensure high standards of data governance, quality, privacy and compliance across Advancement systems and processes.

  • Deliver reporting, dashboards and actionable insights that inform fundraising, alumni engagement and strategic decision-making.

  • Drive the responsible adoption of AI and digital tools to improve service delivery, operational efficiency and data-informed outcomes.

About the Team

The Advancement Services team provides specialist systems, data and operational support to the University's Philanthropy & Impact and Alumni Relations & Engagement teams within the Division of Advancement. The team enables effective fundraising and alumni engagement through strong data governance, technology solutions, reporting and business intelligence. Working collaboratively across the University, the team helps maximise philanthropic support and strengthen lifelong connections with alumni.

What You'll Bring

  • Tertiary qualifications in Information Systems, Data Analytics or a related discipline.

  • Experience managing complex CRM and database platforms, data integrations and business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

  • Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into meaningful insights and recommendations.

  • Demonstrated capability to apply emerging technologies, including AI and automation tools, within privacy, security and governance frameworks.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to support both technical and non-technical audiences.

Role Details

  • Permanent/continuing, Full-time appointment

  • Level 6/7: $96,898 - $119,986 plus 17% superannuation. Salary commensurate with experience and capability

  • Location: Wollongong Campus | Hybrid working arrangements available

  • Valid Australian work rights required. Visa sponsorship is not available.
