Qantas Engineering keeps us at the forefront of aviation, maintaining the safety, reliability and performance of the Qantas fleet and aircraft operated by our customers across the Asia-Pacific region. You’ll play an important role in helping us deliver safe and on-time outcomes for our customers.

As the Advisor, Business Performance you will be responsible for the design, development and ongoing maintenance of workforce resource models across the Qantas Engineering Line and Intermediate Maintenance network. Working closely with Planning, Maintenance and Operational teams, you will provide critical insights into labour capacity, workforce capability and facility utilisation to support effective resource planning and operational decision-making.

Leveraging advanced analytics and forecasting techniques, you will identify opportunities to improve workforce efficiency, optimise maintenance planning outcomes, and enhance operational performance.

Working closely with operational leaders and key stakeholders, you will develop workforce and maintenance forecasts, produce performance reporting and insights, and provide data-driven recommendations to support future workforce capability and business needs.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Experience within an aircraft maintenance environment, ideally in an airline, MRO or broader aviation setting.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to translate complex data into meaningful business insights.
  • Experience applying forecasting, resource planning and statistical analysis techniques to support operational and workforce planning decisions.
  • Proven ability to build strong stakeholder relationships and collaborate effectively across operational, engineering and corporate teams.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, Power BI, SQL, and data analytic tools, with the ability to analyse complex datasets and deliver actionable insights.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify performance improvement opportunities and develop data-driven recommendations that deliver operational outcomes.
