Why this is an exciting opportunity
We are seeking an experienced AML/CTF Reform Implementation Lead to drive a critical regulatory change initiative across the HUB24 Group. Working closely with Risk & Compliance, Legal, Technology and Operations teams, you will lead the delivery of key policy, process, system and governance changes to ensure compliance with evolving AML/CTF obligations and AUSTRAC expectations.
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract role, with the opportunity to make a meaningful impact from day one.
What you’ll be doing
Lead the end-to-end delivery of HUB24’s AML/CTF reform program, ensuring all initiatives are implemented within regulatory timeframes.
Develop and manage the implementation roadmap, including milestones, dependencies, risks and critical deliverables.
Translate AML/CTF legislation and AUSTRAC requirements into practical business outcomes, embedding compliant policies, processes and controls.
Drive governance and operational uplift activities, including support for the transition to the new reporting group structure.
Partner with stakeholders across Risk & Compliance, Legal, Technology, Operations and business teams to ensure accountability and successful delivery.
Coordinate business readiness activities, including process improvements, system enhancements and operational change management.
Facilitate workshops, working groups and stakeholder forums to resolve issues, manage dependencies and maintain delivery momentum.
What you bring
You don’t need to tick every box, but experience in the below will set you up for success.
Experience & Skills
Minimum 5 years’ experience in Risk & Compliance, with relevant professional qualifications.
Strong understanding of AML/CTF legislation, regulatory obligations and AUSTRAC expectations.
Experience delivering complex regulatory change programs, including policy, process and systems implementation.
Specialist financial crime qualifications, with ACAMS highly regarded.
Strong stakeholder management, influencing and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage and present effectively at senior levels.
Highly organised, analytical and detail-oriented, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proven ability to build trusted relationships, work collaboratively and drive outcomes in a complex environment.
