About the team

The Partner Marketing team extends Stripe’s marketing reach to customers and prospects by educating, engaging and enabling partners, globally, to build market awareness and generate demand for their Stripe solutions and services. We recruit prospective partners and support the on-boarding and growth of existing partners as they build, launch, market, and scale business through the Stripe Partner Ecosystem. We partner closely with our global partnerships, marketing, and product teams and serve many different partner types. 

What you’ll do

We’re looking for an experienced, creative, results-oriented marketer to lead our Partner Marketing efforts in APAC. This role leads defining our partner marketing investment model and strategy for APAC, building joint marketing plans with strategic partners, executing co-marketing campaigns and programs to drive customer acquisition and activation, and ultimately helping partners grow their business with Stripe. 

We are looking for a candidate that can set and own the APAC Partner Marketing strategy, as well as, roll up their sleeves and execute. This role will have the opportunity to build out the strategy and growth plan for our partner marketing function locally and influence global partner marketing priorities.

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the regional GTM Partnerships, Sales and Marketing team to build a go-to-market strategy for our Services, Technology and Global Partnerships partners in APAC
  • Define priorities, investment model, scaling mechanisms and success metrics for our marketing efforts with our partners in APAC
  • Drive adoption of scalable marketing and enablement programs locally, and influence the global partner marketing roadmap to serve local partners
  • Administer and optimize market development funds with each partner
  • Align and work closely with Global Partner marketers to extend and land global initiatives in APAC
  • Collaborate closely with our regional marketers to ensure partners are represented in local GTM initiatives

Who you are

Requirements
  • 8-10+ years of relevant B2B marketing experience
  • 2-3 years of experience managing partner marketing teams
  • Experience working closely with technology partners and/or consulting partners, to build joint marketing plans and execute marketing programs and campaigns that drive new customer acquisition and pipeline generation outcomes 
  • Experience working with a global function based in a different region
  • Proven ability to influence and guide the partner’s marketing leadership team to align on objectives and deliver against joint marketing priorities and plans
  • Experience shaping joint messaging with partners
  • Demonstrated experience in measuring and improving the ROI of marketing investments through an indirect business model leveraging partners
  • Deep understanding of the user journey through a partner channel and funnel, sales cycle and product lifecycle and their respective requirements on the partner marketing organization to drive attach and revenue 
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience at a highly dynamic, high-growth tech company
  • Experience in the payments, financial technology, or adjacent industries or marketing FinTech solutions 
  • Fluency in second language in Mandarin Chinese or Japanese
