Working under the supervision of a qualified Cummins Technician, you will learn everything that comes with the diagnosis and repair of Cummins engines and products.

·       Obtain a nationally recognized Certificate III trade qualification.

·       Complete off-the-job TAFE/Registered Training Organization study.

·       Receive structured on-the-job training, under the supervision of our Regional Capability Trainers, as well as the qualified technicians and supervisors in your workshop.

·       Gain your experience working on a range of our world class Cummins engine products.

·       Improve your technical expertise by completing a range of engine product training with Cummins Technical Trainers as you progress through your apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

About you

Cummins are looking for applicants with the following attributes:

·      A positive attitude and eagerness to learn.

·      A passion for working on our products and in the industry.

·       Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.

·       Excellent level of language, literacy, and numeracy skills

·      A willingness to work across regional areas and rotate through different departments to gain experience on automotive, industrial, marine, and mining engine products as you progress through your apprenticeship.

·      Right to work in Australia

·      Preference to have completed year 12 or equivalent.

·       A strong focus on safety and wellbeing that will lead to a successful career at Cummins.

·      Willingness to embrace diversity and make Cummins a great place to work.
