Job DescriptionWe're looking for a compassionate, detail-oriented Assistant in Nursing to join our team our Day Surgery team on a casual basis. You will support experienced nurses and the multidisciplinary team in a high acuity environment. This is a great opportunity to build your clinical skills and work as part of a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living including hygiene, mobility, and nutrition
- Support nursing staff with routine clinical tasks and patient observations
- Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive ward environment
- Provide emotional support and compassionate care to patients and families
- Assist with patient transfers and mobility
- Accurately document care and communicate changes in patient condition
About You
- Minimum 12 months' experience as an AIN in an acute setting
- 2nd year undergrad Nursing or Diploma in Nursing student
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to provide compassionate care to patients with complex medical needs
- Commitment to maintaining patient dignity and confidentiality
- Flexibility to work across a 7-day rotating roster
Remuneration
On offer is a base hourly rate ranging from $28.92 - $31.74 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (NSW AIN/Midwifery gr1-gr3 + thereafter).
