Aurecon’s Program Performance team is experiencing significant growth across Australia, and we’re looking for proactive early careers Project Management professionals to join our Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, Darwin and Adelaide business. This is your chance to be part of high-impact projects that make a real difference - while building your career in a collaborative and supportive environment.

You’ll work in client-side Project Management roles on a diverse range of infrastructure projects across Defence, Government, Social Infrastructure, Resources, Energy and Renewables. Our team of experts will support your professional development, helping you broaden your skills across various markets, sectors, and project stages.

In this role you’ll build strong client partnerships and co-create innovative, tailored solutions to meet their evolving challenges.

You will:

  • Support the delivery of infrastructure and capital works projects from planning through to delivery

  • Assist with project governance, reporting, scheduling, risk management and stakeholder coordination

  • Prepare high-quality client deliverables including reports, presentations, meeting minutes and project documentation

  • Undertake analysis and problem solving to support project outcomes and client decision making

  • Build and maintain effective relationships with clients, contractors and project stakeholders

  • Contribute to workshops, meetings and project communications

  • Manage assigned tasks and workstreams effectively to meet project time, cost and quality requirements

  • Demonstrate a proactive and growth-oriented mindset, seeking feedback and continuously developing capability

What you’ll bring

Ideally, you will have:

  • 2 – 5 years’ experience working in an Project Administration, Assistant Project Manager or Project Manager capacity

  • Experience working within engineering, construction, consulting, Defence or government environments is highly regarded

  • Experience working across complex stakeholder environments and managing competing priorities

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability

  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline and/or relevant equivalent experience working in these fields.

  • Be an Australian Citizen and eligible for security clearance as determined by the Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA).
