Who you are: 

A client services expert, you’re comfortable managing and growing key accounts, and able to prioritise between many different work streams. You love learning new technology and teaching it to others. You’re as comfortable driving projects forward as you are taking an agency out for lunch. You’re a self-starter, can set your own priorities and execute on them. You are a  true consultative business partner with your clients. You understand how to create and maintain momentum. You love collaborating and bouncing ideas and strategies with a team and yet, you’re comfortable working autonomously. 

What you'll do:

  • Oversee the health of agency holding group and/or independent agency relationships as a strategic advisor, guiding problem-solving discussions and providing best-in-class client services. 
  • Demonstrate the value of The Trade Desk to clients by upselling innovative solutions that meet the clients’ needs and our business goals. 
  • Lead key agency client meetings in collaboration with business development and trading counterparts. 
  • Develop trusting and productive relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally. 
  • Lead the development of portfolio-specific goals based on the company’s vision and values and work in tandem with the Business Development team to track the progress of portfolio goals on a regular basis. 
  • Become heavily involved in product development by identifying how to build products that provide solutions for our clients’ business objectives and serving as a liaison between our clients and our product team. 
  • Work closely with Technical Account Managers to drive custom solutions that benefit the client’s needs and set TTD apart from competitors. 
  • Manage team bandwidth while delivering a high-level of account support and reporting progress to build your team.  
  • Participate in broader organizational leadership initiatives (e.g., Regional All Hands, Client Services Learning Hours, etc.) ensuring successful implementation and execution by modeling organizational and leadership capabilities. 
  • Actively leverage and improve established processes, documents, checklists, etc. that ensure efficient procedures and continual improvement of your pod. 


What you bring to the table:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 7+ years digital advertising experience and client facing experience required
  • Proven track record of growing accounts by forging a strong relationship with clients, understanding their objectives and recommending best strategies
  • Effective time management skills – ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
  • Experience with driving projects requiring stakeholders from different disciplines to drive output at pace
  • Expertise in working with RTB, DSPs, ad exchanges, aggregators, ad servers, and other optimisation platforms is a plus
  • Solid experience in Excel and MS Office, including pivot tables, chart-making
  • Outstanding troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, along with an ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced start-up environment
