Job Summary
We’re looking for an Associate Business Analyst – Feeds to join our Feeds Operations Team within Enterprise Solutions.
This is a great opportunity for someone early in their Business Analyst career who enjoys working with data, solving problems and collaborating across both business and technical teams. You’ll support the delivery and ongoing improvement of financial data feeds into Class, working with external feed providers as well as Product, Development, Testing and Operations teams.
You’ll be involved across the delivery lifecycle, from gathering requirements and analysing data through to testing, issue investigation and supporting new feed integrations and enhancements.

What you’ll be doing


  • Support requirements gathering for new data feeds, provider onboarding, enhancements, upgrades and operational improvements
  • Work with internal teams and external providers to understand and document business and technical requirements
  • Analyse financial data including transactions, balances, holdings, security information, cash accounts and documents
  • Create and maintain user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, data mappings and supporting documentation
  • Support testing activities including test scenarios, test data, execution, defect management and outcome validation
  • Assist with investigating feed issues, data exceptions and processing incidents
  • Maintain accurate Jira tickets, operational procedures, knowledge articles and supporting documentation
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, workshops, backlog refinement and requirement reviews
  • Monitor and communicate progress, risks, dependencies and issues to stakeholders
  • Contribute to improvements across feed quality, automation, operational processes and customer outcomes

What you bring


You don’t need to tick every box, but experience in the below will set you up for success.


Experience & Skills


  • 1–3 years’ experience within Business Analysis, Operations, Support, Technology, Financial Services or a related environment
  • Experience or exposure to the SMSF sector, superannuation or accounting platforms would be highly regarded
  • Some experience with requirements gathering, user stories, acceptance criteria, process mapping or documentation
  • An interest in working with data, integrations and technology, with a basic understanding of APIs, structured data files or file-transfer processes highly regarded
  • Intermediate Excel skills and an interest in data analysis and reconciliations
  • Exposure to testing, UAT, defect management or incident support would be beneficial
  • Familiarity with Agile ways of working and tools such as Jira and Confluence
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills and the confidence to work across technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • A curious, proactive approach with a willingness to learn and develop your technical and financial services knowledge
  • Exposure to financial services, wealth management, accounting software, data feeds, SQL or provider integrations would be advantageous, but isn’t essential
