We are seeking an Associate Client Partner to join Spotify’s Emerging & Scaled team, supporting the ANZ market. This role focuses on driving growth with first-time advertisers and contributes to Spotify’s broader investment in new business acquisition.
This is a hunter role - You will identify, engage, and convert new advertisers, building relationships from initial outreach through to long-term partnership. Reporting to the Director of Sales, Emerging & Scaled, you will be part of a cross-market team focused on expanding Spotify’s advertiser base and driving revenue growth across ANZ.
This role is well suited to someone who is proactive, goal-oriented, and motivated by building new business opportunities. Your work will shape how advertisers discover and engage with Spotify.
What You'll Do
- New Business Development: Manage a portfolio of prospective advertisers across ANZ, identifying, qualifying, and converting new clients into active Spotify partners
- Prospecting & Outreach: Plan and execute multi-channel outreach strategies, including account research, audience mapping, email outreach, and LinkedIn engagement
- Sales Pipeline Management: Maintain an accurate and up-to-date pipeline in Salesforce, including forecasting, activity tracking, and consistent pipeline reviews
- Client Onboarding: Close new business opportunities and support advertisers through onboarding, ensuring successful activation across Spotify Ads Manager and other buying channels
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams and Client Partners to support account transitions and ensure a seamless advertiser experience
- Product Knowledge: Build a strong understanding of Spotify’s advertising products, formats, and platforms to effectively position solutions to clients
- Market Development: Develop relationships with agencies and brands across ANZ to create new business opportunities and expand market presence
- Account Growth Support: Monitor newly activated accounts and identify opportunities to support long-term engagement and retention
Who You Are
- You have a minimum of 4+ years of experience in digital media sales, business development, or a similar client-facing role
- You are comfortable with outbound prospecting, including researching accounts, identifying opportunities, and initiating conversations with new clients
- You manage your work independently and prioritize effectively across multiple opportunities
- You communicate clearly and tailor your messaging to different audiences and client needs
- You are motivated by achieving goals and contributing to team success
- You use data and insights to inform your approach and improve performance
- You work well collaboratively and value knowledge sharing across teams
- Experience in advertising technology, programmatic, or audio advertising is a plus

- This role is based in Sydney
- We offer you the flexibility to work where you work best! There will be some in person meetings, but still allows for flexibility to work from home. We ask that you come in 3 times per week
