Our Marketing team is responsible for connecting millions of customers and thousands of merchant partners with Zip through innovative, data driven and customer first experiences. Working closely with Product, Data, Engineering and Commercial teams, we combine creativity, experimentation and commercial thinking to deliver sustainable growth while bringing our values to life every day.

As Associate Director, Acquisition Marketing, you'll lead the strategy and execution of Zip's acquisition engine, shaping how we attract, convert and grow both customers and merchant partners. This is a highly visible leadership opportunity where you'll influence business strategy, champion experimentation, and build scalable growth programs that create lasting commercial impact.

What you'll own
  • Develop and execute Zip's acquisition marketing strategy across paid search, paid social, affiliate marketing, SEO and emerging digital channels.
  • Lead the performance of customer and merchant acquisition programs, balancing strategic planning with hands on optimisation to maximise growth and return on investment.
  • Own forecasting, budget allocation, measurement and performance reporting across acquisition channels.
  • Lead and evolve Zip's affiliate marketing program, growing strategic partnerships and improving attribution to unlock new acquisition opportunities.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Data, Brand, Merchant and Digital teams to deliver seamless customer and merchant acquisition experiences.
  • Drive experimentation across creative, messaging, landing pages and channel optimisation, embedding a test and learn culture across the marketing function.
  • Lead merchant lifecycle marketing initiatives that improve onboarding, activation, engagement and long term partner success.
  • Provide leadership, coaching and direction across acquisition marketing, fostering a collaborative, high performing and accountable team culture.
What you'll bring to the team

  • 10+ years' experience leading acquisition, performance or growth marketing within fast paced digital businesses.
  • Proven success managing multi channel acquisition strategies across Google Ads, Meta Ads, affiliate marketing and SEO.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience optimising marketing investment through data driven decision making and experimentation.
  • Demonstrated experience leading affiliate partnerships and delivering measurable growth outcomes.
  • Advanced analytical capability with experience using platforms including Google Analytics, Google Ads and Meta Ads Manager to generate actionable insights.
  • Experience partnering with Product, Engineering, Data and Commercial teams to deliver cross functional initiatives.
  • A collaborative leadership style with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and develop high performing teams.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and strategic planning skills.
  • A mindset that embraces AI and new tools to adapt, learn and grow.
