Manage and develop a clinical liaison and iTero trainers team to deliver clinical support and training to Invisalign providers. Drive clinical plans, collaborate with sales/marketing, handle case assessments and ClinCheck reviews, lead events and training, manage quality feedback, and ensure high customer satisfaction and team performance.
The Associate Manager, Clinical Liaison position is responsible for managing the Clinical team in assigned market and overseeing its clinical activities to provide in-house clinical guidance and support as well as clinical customer support. The position will work cross-functionally to deliver an excellent clinical customer experience for all Invisalign Providers.

- Achieve Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Clinical Plans and sales target by partnering with sales team to visit customers who need intensive clinical support
- Responsible for driving clinical liaison and iTero Trainers team to work with assigned accounts and team within Align Tech, including direction, motivation and development of clinical plans, targets, and strategies and the removal of obstacles to success (such as assisting dental professionals in case assessment, record taking, ClinCheck usage, troubleshooting problems and aligner issues; reviewing first 5 ClinChecks of newly trained doctors; reviewing ClinChecks for customers who need assistance; transferring cases that need expert advice to clinical consultants; preparing clinical materials to send to dental professionals; communicating with Align on various clinical support issues; providing clinical training to new staff)
- Responsible for developing customer capability in successfully planning for the treatment for various types of dental malocclusions. Also ensuring capability development in leveraging the various tools available in the system for the same
- Managing clinical liaison team (OBT, field visit, etc) and ensuring performance of the team. Managing iTero Trainers team ( onboard training and post sales training)
- Coordinating clinical related sales/marketing programs like ICE, IPP, etc.
- Active collaboration with sales and marketing teams to meet the needs of customers and the field
- Provide all appropriate reporting to both the Management from Clinical and Sales including feedback from customers on a weekly and monthly report
- Develop a high-performance team
- Effectively driving team to ensure high customer satisfaction
- Consistent self-clinical competency development to provide the right and precise clinical support
Drive the Best Outcomes
- Executing programs (NDO, Growth) to increase productivity of team in alignment with commercial team
- Working closely with TREAT team to drive high quality treatment plan to customer and manage clinical hold, customers comment and complaint
- Be responsible for all quality updates records and customer product feedback for TH market to Treat team
- Engage certified doctors and develop potential for new cases; engage non-certified doctors and establish their potential as an Invisalign provider and current submitters to develop Invisalign business
- Provide Product and Clinical Training and knowledge to assigned accounts
- Develop and lead the global standard and localized training courses to the customers
- Provide appropriate training and field coaching to team members, distributors and all external customers
- Providing continuous education to staff especially sales and marketing teams and training when there is new product launch
- Build strong ethical business relationships with customers to ensure usage of our products and gain greater market share by focusing high value activity and selling
- Keep abreast of what competitors are doing; and to provide updates of market intelligence and pulses in the market
- Manage clinical related sales/marketing programs.
- Drive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals
- Be responsible for all quality updates records and customer product feedback
Lock in Key Relationships
- Engage certified doctors and develop potential for new cases; engage non-certified doctors and establish their potential as an Invisalign provider and current submitters to develop Invisalign business
- Lead clinical event and speaker management
- Plan and arrange clinical events that are suitable for the market and coordinate on the education pathway
- Engage speakers to clinical events with pre-event preparation
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
In this role, you’ll need …
- Graduate of Doctorate of Dental Surgery, Bachelor Dental Surgery is preferred
- At least 6-8 years of relevant working experience, including team management and preferably corporate experience
- Strong technical knowledge and experience in dental
- Be knowledgeable of market and industry trends, competitors, and leading customer strategies
- Excel at building/maintaining relationships across disciplines internally and externally
- Effective communication and presentation skill
- Outside hours in evenings and weekends, and traveling is required
