We are looking for an Associate HRBP to champion best-in-class People Experience across APJ (AU, Singapore, Japan). In this role, you will be partnering with first line leaders and employees to deliver measurable business outcomes that will scale our business, evolve our culture, and enable teams to go above and beyond. You will combine a deep understanding of core HR and ER principles with a “people first” mindset to evolve our culture and enable teams to do their best work. You’ll take a key role in designing and improving the moments that matter, driving organizational health and our unique culture and values. You will work closely with Senior HRBPs and APJ leaders to assess organizational needs, devise solutions, and coach first line managers to drive commercial impact for our business.
About The Role
- Work closely with first line managers and employees across the APJ Sales function to enhance leadership capabilities, foster high employee performance, sustainable people management practices, and grow top talent.
- Provide local Australian ER advice to Global functions including Partnerships, Customer Success, Services and Marketing.
- Own the APJ People Experience roadmap across the employee lifecycle, promoting an enjoyable and exciting workplace to retain employees through engagement initiatives.
- Support the design and delivery of targeted solutions that enable strategic business outcomes, including engagement, performance management, talent management, DEI, recognition, change management and team building to support the team’s growth and individual development plans.
- Support employees in the different stages in their employee lifecycle (onboarding, offboarding, mobility, life events etc.) ensuring compliance and consistent employee experience
- Partner with TA, Total Rewards, L&D, DEI and People Ops to implement scalable process that support high performance and cultural alignment across APJ and Global teams
- Implementing cross-organizational HR processes, change management and initiatives to best support the teams’ high performance, development and growth.
- Lead ER matters and investigations with discretion, fairness and risk calibration
- Support diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) efforts to promote a culture of belonging, ensuring equitable practices and supporting other DEI initiatives.
- Manage People data, leverage insights to assess and impact the business
Requirements
- 2-4 years of relevant HR experience (i.e. HR Specialist /Associate / Business Partner).
- Experience in the tech industry, ideally from hyper-growth SaaS companies.
- Experience supporting Client-facing departments and complex ER cases
- Experience in coaching first line managers.
- Experience in onboarding and off-boarding, People Experience & DEI, leading action plans to drive engagement, Employee Relations & investigations.
- Strong commercial mindset and business acumen, you are able to “speak the language” of the Go to Market teams
- Collaborator and a team player - an inclusive mindset and ability to build great relationships.
- Holds analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, experience in using data to identify insights and trends that drive action, and exercises solid judgment.
- Strong consulting, coaching, communication and influencing skills with proven ability to position as a trusted partner.
- Demonstrates project management and change management experience.
- Experience in a global environment - providing HR support to global leaders and teams, while collaborating with global HR functions
Additional Info:
- Hybrid 3 days a week in the office
- Some AU and APJ travel required
- Experience with enterprise HRIS & ATS systems such as SuccessFactors, Workday, Ashby etc beneficial
