Job Description

  • Full-time, Ongoing position at Academic Level D.
  • Parramatta City campus with flexible working arrangements.
  • Salary: $182,520 – $200,625 pa, plus 17% Super and Leave Loading.

Lead teaching, research and industry engagement in digital marketing, artificial intelligence and marketing technology.

The Opportunity
In this role, you will provide academic leadership within the Marketing Discipline, contributing to excellence in research, contemporary teaching and external engagement. Your work will strengthen capability in digital marketing, artificial intelligence and marketing technology across undergraduate and postgraduate programs.

You will design and deliver contemporary blended learning experiences, develop relevant learning activities and resources, and provide effective assessment and feedback. Through a clearly defined and reflective teaching practice, you will support student learning and influence best practice in education.

You will lead research projects and research teams, supervise postgraduate research and build productive interdisciplinary networks across the University. You will also develop relationships with industry, government, professional bodies and the community that strengthen teaching and research outcomes and support external funding opportunities.

About You

  • A PhD in marketing, digital marketing or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated excellence in teaching and learning design across undergraduate and/or postgraduate programs delivering high-quality, innovative learning experiences.
  • An established international research reputation evidenced by high-quality publications, including publications in ABDC /A* ranked journals or other leading journals in the discipline.
  • Evidence of success in securing competitive external research funding.
  • Proven leadership of research projects and teams, including postgraduate research supervision.
  • Highly developed collaboration and influencing skills, with experience engaging industry, professional bodies and academic stakeholders.
