The Opportunity
Are you an Avionics Engineer ready to make an impact on a world-class maritime surveillance and response platform? Boeing Defence Australia is seeking passionate, skilled engineers to join the P-8A Capability Enhancement Team (CET) at RAAF Base Edinburgh, South Australia.
This is your chance to work on the P-8A Poseidon - a cutting-edge airborne surveillance, communications and maritime patrol system that protects Australia's interests at sea and beyond.

What you'll be doing
  • Work with customers to develop and document electrical and avionic system requirements.
  • Analyse and translate requirements into system architecture, interface specifications, wiring design and installation solutions.
  • Test and validate designs to ensure they meet operational and functional requirements.
  • Provide engineering support across the product lifecycle and work towards Engineering Authority and Delegations for the platform.

Who we're looking for
  • Must hold a Tertiary qualification in Electrical, Avionics or related Engineering degree, meeting Engineers Australia requirements (MIEAust).
  • Experience in aviation engineering: design development, investigations or work on aircraft electrical, radar, communications, navigation or electronic warfare subsystems.
  • Experience producing engineering artefacts in the Defence Aviation Safety Regulation (DASR) environment.
