Job Title:

AWS Consultant - AWS Connect - CX

Job Description

Concentrix Catalyst is looking for an AWS Consultant to join the ANZ DevOps team. We are an AWS Partner, Network Advanced Tier Consulting Partner, and one of the most recognised specialist enterprise mobility companies in the world.

We take our client’s visions from concept to release in as little as a few months and often work together to evolve products for years. We’re spread across 10 locations around the world and are now expanding our DevOps team at a global level.

You’ll work with talented and passionate people, who love what they do, in an informal, yet high-energy office with lots of opportunities to learn and grow. So, if you love technology, have a passion for innovation, and thrive in a team-based environment then read on...

Tell me more!

As an AWS Consultant at Concentrix Catalyst, we are seeking an experienced Amazon Web Services (AWS) engineer with expertise in the strategy, design, development, and implementation of projects in the cloud for our clients, including engagements that deliver Amazon Connect and customer experience (CX) platforms. The ideal candidate is experienced in cloud based tech, with a firm grasp of emerging technologies, platforms and applications, and the ability to customise them to help projects become secure and efficient. Extensive knowledge of cloud engineering and advanced industry knowledge is essential to keeping us on the cutting edge.

You will
  • Work in tandem with our engineering teams to identify and implement the most optimal cloud-based solutions for clients, including those built on Amazon Connect and the AWS services that support it.
  • Develop and implement technical efforts to design, build, and deploy AWS applications at the direction of project leads.
  • Participate in all aspects of the software development life cycle for AWS solutions, including planning, requirements, development, testing, and quality assurance.
  • Support Amazon Connect engagements alongside CCaaS engineers — building Lambda integrations, CloudFormation templates, and the supporting AWS infrastructure that contact flows depend on.
  • Build data pipelines and QuickSight dashboards on top of Connect outputs (CTR feeds, Contact Lens, agent events) using Data Lake, Glue, and Athena to give clients meaningful visibility into CX performance.
  • Troubleshoot incidents, identify root causes, fix and document problems, and implement preventive measures.
  • Educate teams on the implementation of new cloud-based initiatives, providing associated training as required.
  • Employ exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to see and solve issues before they affect business productivity.
You have
  • 5+ years of experience architecting, designing, developing, and implementing solutions on AWS platforms.
  • Full-Stack Engineering skills, covering Node.js, React, .NET Core, SQL, NoSQL, Python, etc.
  • Strong working knowledge of the AWS platform (EC2, EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, Aurora, AppSync, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of — or genuine interest in — Amazon Connect and the AWS services that support contact centre and CX delivery, including Lambda, Lex, Kinesis, Glue, Athena, and QuickSight.
  • Experience building data pipelines and analytics on AWS; contact centre data experience (e.g. CTR feeds into a Data Lake, Athena queries, QuickSight dashboards) is highly valued.
  • Working knowledge of web services, API, REST, and GraphQL.
  • Understanding of and experience with the five pillars of the AWS Well-Architected Framework.
  • Experience in several of the following areas: database architecture, ETL, business intelligence, big data, machine learning, advanced analytics.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams of business analysts, developers, data analysts, CCaaS engineers, and subject matter experts.
  • AWS Certification — Associate level required (Developer or Solutions Architect); Professional level (Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer) preferred.
