About Role

As Business Development Manager , you will be responsible for proactively researching organisations and identifying new Prezzee Pay closed loop business opportunities, developing new relationships and arranging business development meetings with prospective clients.


Prezzee Pay Closed Loop / White Label cards enable partners to launch fully branded programs quickly and cost-effectively, with no POS integration or development required. Transactions run seamlessly online and in-store worldwide, settlement processes remain unchanged, and staff onboarding is minimal—delivering efficiency at scale while providing spend insights that empower stronger loyalty strategies and measurable business growth.


Hybrid role, based in Sydney CBD OR Melbourne CBD office


In this role you will:

  • Conduct research to identify closed loop use cases and customer needs.
  • Formulate, implement and manage strategic business plans for closed loop Prezzee Pay opportunities.
  • Self generate leads and build a pipeline of opportunities.
  • Prospect and pitch to new clients and build enduring relationships.
  • Set-up meetings, run product demos and assist with onboard customers.
  • Source new retail brands that align to the wider company strategy and that provide the associated reach and commercial value.
  • Work with both internal and external stakeholders to maximise closed loop opportunities.
  • Achieve Prezzee Pay targets, meeting individual KPIs.
  • Prepare for and lead commercial Prezzee Pay closed loop negotiations.
  • Negotiate major deals and maintain key customer relationships at a senior level.
  • Work closely with the Prezzee Pay delivery team, customer care and tech teams to address key issues that need to be resolved.

About You

  • Proven (7+ years) in partnerships, business or corporate development with desired experience in Program Management in the digital gifting industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of program management methods, technologies, and regulations.
  • Strong network and successful track record with excellent deal negotiation and commercial structuring skills.
  • Experience in negotiating and managing regional partnership agreements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Ability to generate clear and concise reports for regional stakeholders and global teams.
  • Strong financial acumen and a proven track record in driving profitable growth.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with partners and stakeholders.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
