Position Overview: Bookkeeper/ Accountant  
 
Location: Remote 
Region Preference: Philippines 
Employment Type: Part-time (20hrs per week) 
Experience Level: 3-5 years 
Work Roster: 3PM-7PM Philippines Time (Flexible) 
  
About the Role: 
We’re hiring on behalf of an Australian music business looking for a skilled Bookkeeper / Accountant. This role blends general accounting duties with a strong focus on managing accounts receivable. You’ll be working closely with an international team and using Xero to maintain accurate financial records, handle client communications, and support the overall financial strategy. 
  
Key Responsibilities: 
General Accounting & Bookkeeping 
  • Perform general bookkeeping, including data entry and bank reconciliation 
  • Assist with financial reporting and basic analysis 
  • Handle accounts payables and support tax compliance documentation (preferred) 
  • Ensure timely and accurate transaction processing 
  • Collaborate with internal accounting and finance teams 
Core Expertise: Accounts Receivable Management 
  • Manage end-to-end accounts receivable process (invoicing to reconciliation) 
  • Ensure timely collection of payments and maintain AR ledgers 
  • Follow up with clients professionally on overdue invoices 
  • Handle client queries regarding payments and terms 
  • Implement effective collection strategies in line with compliance standards 
  • Generate AR reports and suggest improvements to AR workflows 
  
Required Skills 
  • Around five years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting 
  • Strong background in accounts receivable processes (AU experience preferred) 
  • Proficiency in Xero 
  • Excellent attention to detail, communication, and time management skills 
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with remote teams 
  • Strong English skills (verbal and written)
