Job Description:
The Brand Manager SPH plays a pivotal role in driving growth initiatives for ADVANCE supporting the brand’s ambitions to deliver net sales value and market share growth YoY over the next 3 years. The Brand Manager will support in leading the strategic agenda for ADVANCE to maximise growth opportunities and ensure the brand is consistently communicated across all touch points. As the shared guardian of this brand, you will focus on the delivery of strong growth and ensure ADVANCE is building stronger equity.
Key responsibilities including supporting and, in some instances, lead the development of the 3-year growth plans and be responsible for delivery of the innovation pipeline, media strategies, activation strategies and the development of the supporting toolkits.
This role will include leading the product development brief and commercialization of innovative pet care solutions for ADVANCE across the cat wet and dry range. This role combines scientific pet and product expertise, market insights, and strategic acumen to drive the creation of products with scientifically proven claims that meet regulatory and legal standards. Working closely with portfolio team members and a broad range of cross-functional stakeholders (R&D (local and global), you'll promote a collaborative approach, leverage consumer insights, and apply strong project management skills to unlock the planned innovation pipeline and ultimately growth for this priority brand in the SPT channel.

What are we looking for?Bachelor’s degree Business or similar
A proven high performing Assistant Brand Manager / Brand Manager with experience in Brand Marketing / Sales, ideally in FMCG
In depth understanding, knowledge and practical experience in consumer marketing with global and/or or regional experience
Demonstrated experience in brand management, innovation, data analysis, brief writing & leading key brand projects
Experience in R&D and/or Pet Innovation in an FMCG environment desirable
Experience in product innovation, product design and claim approval in a business context
Extensive experience in project delivery
Ability to effectively engage and influence senior leaders and peers in R&D, Marketing, SRA and Supply
Brand Strategy Development: Utilising the flywheel, create and implement branding strategies over 3 year growth plan horizon, across Media, Innovation & Activation. You are responsible for managing a successful transition into deployment (led by our Shopper Activation Team) and you will work collaboratively to bring the full plan to life
Innovate and Develop Products: Responsible for creation and delivery of brand innovation plans in line with the approved 3-year innovation pipeline utilising pet parent, consumer, category and Waltham insights to achieve our 2028+ growth ambition
Commercialize Scientific Insights: Translate scientific research into actionable, marketable claims and ensure these are backed by strong scientific evidence and in line with the ADVANCE brand Food Philosophy and product Do’s and Don’ts. Collaborate with legal and SRA teams to validate product claims for on pack and all other forms of 360 communication
Marketing & Advertising: Partner with Portfolio Director and Senior Brand Manager, to build ADVANCE brand comms strategy, Creative Development & Budget Management.
S&OP+ and Financial & Performance Management: Represent ADVANCE through the S&OP+ Process. You will co-lead the process meetings, working to deliver against the 3 year planning horizon with your team members.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Coordinating with various departments such as finance, supply chain, and external partners to ensure seamless execution of brand strategies.
