We are hiring a Braze Solutions Architect to design, implement, and optimize Braze as a core Marketing Technology (MarTech) platform for one of our Australian clients. This role will own Braze’s technical architecture, data flows, integrations, and lifecycle journey design, working closely with marketing, product, data, and engineering teams to enable scalable, personalized, multi-channel customer engagement.
- Own the end-to-end Braze architecture across email, push notifications, SMS, in-app, and web channels
- Client facing – work with clients during the discovery stages, understanding their requirements and translating into a proposal form.
- Design and implement Braze integrations with mobile apps, websites, backend systems, and data platforms
- Define event tracking, user attributes, and data models required for marketing and lifecycle use cases
- Lead the setup and optimization of Braze Canvases, campaigns, and segmentation logic
- Implement personalization and dynamic content using Liquid and Braze features
- Partner with marketing teams to translate campaign and lifecycle requirements into scalable technical designs
- Ensure data accuracy, performance, and deliverability across channels
- Troubleshoot complex Braze issues related to data ingestion, campaigns, and messaging delivery
- Document technical designs, data schemas, and implementation standards
- Act as the Braze subject-matter expert for internal teams and stakeholders
- 3–5+ years of hands-on Braze experience in a production environment
- Strong experience designing Braze data models (events, custom attributes, user profiles)
- Proven experience with Braze Canvases and lifecycle journey design
- Hands-on experience with Braze SDKs and APIs
- Solid understanding of MarTech concepts (customer lifecycle, segmentation, personalization, automation)
- Experience working with cross-functional teams (marketing, engineering, data)
- Ability to own architecture decisions, not just execute campaigns
- Braze certification (Admin or Technical)
- Experience with Braze Currents and data exports
- Experience integrating Braze with data warehouses or CDPs
- Knowledge of deliverability, consent management, and compliance
- Prior experience in a Solutions Architect or Technical Lead role within MarTech
