This role requires a strong technical aptitude, including the ability to understand technical architectures, data flows, and system integrations.

This role is crucial for delivering LMG’s Commission System replacement.

Key responsibilities:

  • Business Requirements: Lead workshops with stakeholders to capture, analyse, and document comprehensive business and functional requirements.
  • Functional Specifications: Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Manage Requirements: Manage the requirements traceability matrix to ensure all business needs are met by the new solution.
  • Analysis: Analyse existing commission structures, sales data, and financial reports to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.

Process Mapping & Uplift
  • Current and Future state: Document current-state ("as-is") processes  and assist with design of optimised, future-state ("to-be") processes that leverage the out-of-the-box capabilities of the new system, minimising customisation and driving operational efficiency.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies in the commissions process.

Data Migration & Integration Support
  • Data Migration: Work with data owners to analyse, cleanse, and map legacy data structures from the 2 decommissioned applications into the new data model.
  • Integration: Define and document integration requirements (eg APIs, data feeds) between the new commission system and existing internal systems.

Vendor Collaboration & QA Alignment
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the vendor’s build and QA teams to ensure they have a crystal-clear understanding of the requirements.
  • Validate configuration: Review vendor configuration design documents to ensure they align with business expectations.

Testing & Business Readiness (UAT)
  • UAT strategy and execution: Define the UAT strategy, write comprehensive test scenarios/scripts, and coordinate internal business users during UAT execution.
  • Defect Management: Help triage defects during testing, acting as the conduit between internal testers and the vendor’s QA team.

Project Management and Change Management Support
  • Project Reporting: Support the project manager in creation of project reports, risk and issue management
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users on the new system(s)

To succeed in this role you will bring with you:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in financial services
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Project Management: Experience in projects and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
