The Business Analyst is responsible for understanding business needs, analysing processes, and translating requirements into clear, actionable outcomes that enable successful project delivery. 

Job Description

Business Analysis & Requirements 

  • Elicit, analyse, and document business requirements through stakeholder engagement 
  • Translate business needs into clear functional and non-functional requirements 
  • Develop artefacts including business requirements documents, user stories, and process maps 
  • Ensure requirements are traceable, prioritised, and aligned to business outcomes 

Stakeholder Engagement 

  • Build strong relationships across business and technology teams 
  • Facilitate workshops and working sessions to gather and validate requirements 
  • Support stakeholder alignment and decision-making 

Process Improvement 

  • Analyse current-state processes and identify improvement opportunities 
  • Define future-state processes aligned to business and technology strategy 
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives 

Delivery Support 

  • Work closely with Project Managers and delivery teams to support project execution 
  • Contribute to solution design discussions 
  • Support testing activities and define acceptance criteria 
  • Ensure delivered solutions meet agreed business requirements 

Governance & Documentation 

  • Maintain clear and structured documentation aligned to Sodexo standards 
  • Support portfolio governance through accurate artefact management 
  • Ensure consistency in business analysis methodologies and tools 

Skills & Experience 

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst in technology or digital environments 
  • Strong requirements elicitation and process modelling skills 
  • Experience working within structured project or portfolio delivery frameworks 
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills 
  • Ability to translate complex concepts into clear, actionable insights 
  • Experience supporting end-to-end project delivery 
  • Experience with tools such as Triskell or similar portfolio platforms is advantageous 

Qualifications

  • Degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field 
  • Business Analysis certifications (e.g. CBAP, CCBA, Agile BA) are advantageous
