Role Summary

Due to continued growth, the position of Business Analyst is now available, providing business analysis services to support client engagements across the full asset lifecycle (design, build, integrate, operate) in the Transport, Energy, Defence and Water markets.

Based from either Brisbane or Sydney, this presents an excellent career opportunity offering a rewarding path, with access to complex projects in a supportive culture. 

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Analysing processes and operations, using appropriate tools and techniques to identify improvements per client objectives.
  • Using statistical methods to gather, review, validate and analyse data.
  • Assessing, selecting and making recommendations on options for process improvement, including business process modelling, process mapping and workflow modelling.
  • Developing and implementing tools and techniques for data gathering and analysis.
  • Conducting stakeholder interviews and facilitating workshops using methods such as Design Thinking to engage people; gathering inputs to your analysis and sharing ideas and conclusions.
  • Preparing reports and presenting to a range of client stakeholders.
  • Developing Concepts of Operations and associated operational and maintenance requirements.
  • Contributing to the development of project and operational management plans as required.

Desired Skills, Experience and Capabilities

  • Degree qualified in engineering or other relevant discipline.
  • Experience in performing business analysis roles in client and/or consulting environments.
  • Excellent critical thinking, analysis, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with technical and non-technical audiences
  • Demonstrated behavioural characteristics, such as professionalism, ethics, and adaptability
  • Demonstrated knowledge of tools and technology skills, such as software, methodologies, and frameworks
  • Recognised ability to work independently and succeed in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team environment.
  • A passion for developing technically, professionally, and behaviourally.
  • A curious, collaborative team player who delivers excellent results and operates to high standards and business ethics.
