Job Description

Your Opportunity 

We’re looking for a Business Analyst to join our Issuing Product Domain on a 12-month maximum term contract. 

In this role, you’ll own the vision and strategy for payments and digital product solutions, ensuring every solution delivers exceptional value for our clients and end-users. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you’ll turn ideas into reality and help Cuscal maintain its position as a leader in the payments ecosystem.

You’ll also make an impact by:

  • Acting as the link between business and technology, eliciting and translating stakeholder needs into clear requirements and user stories
  • Owning and supporting backlog refinement and prioritisation with the Product Owner, ensuring delivery aligns to business value and priorities
  • Partnering with stakeholders to align requirements and solutions with business needs, resolving conflicts and ensuring clear communication across teams

Qualifications

What you’ll bring

You’re an experienced Business Analyst with a passion for delivering impactful products. You thrive on collaboration, balancing strategic vision with meticulous attention to detail.

To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:

  • Strong analytical, prioritisation and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business needs into clear requirements
  • Experience working within Agile delivery environments, supporting backlog refinement and working with tools such as Jira and Confluence
  • Proven ability to engage and communicate effectively with stakeholders, managing conflicting requirements and driving alignment

You’ll stand out from the crowd if you have some of the following:

  • Exposure to compliance frameworks such as PCI and familiarity with regulatory requirements in financial services
  • Knowledge of cards and payments systems, including experience working with platforms or standards such as ISO20022 or AS2805
