We believe that the strength and quality of our relationships will always be central to our success and are deeply connected to our purpose: Unlock potential, create tomorrow.

The Opportunity

The Institutional Capital team plays an important role in the growth of the Dexus real estate and infrastructure funds management businesses. As the Business Development Associate, Institutional Capital, your role is integral to the success of growth and diversification of the institutional investor base. This includes planning, developing and implementing marketing strategies, equity raisings, distribution of existing products (currently 6 pooled funds across real estate and infrastructure) and working in collaboration with the product development and investor relations team.

You will make an impact by:

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with institutional investors

  • Supporting the execution of equity raisings across the existing Dexus institutional capital product suite and marketing new investment opportunities across both real estate and infrastructure

  • Working closely with Investor Relations Managers to support the creation and implementation of fund marketing plans and equity raisings

  • Supporting the Head of Institutional Capital and broader team with marketing new investment opportunities. This includes creation of investor materials through collaboration with the broader Dexus sector teams and internal stakeholders

  • Working closely with the Distribution team in ensuring investor leads for institutional products are followed up and converted to investor commitment

  • Contributing to Investment Committee reports to update investor relations and distribution activities, including data led CRM analysis

  • Understanding investor sentiment and providing feedback to the broader business

  • Continued cross-selling of products to existing investors

About You

You’ll bring a curious, confident mindset to the role, with a genuine ability to build trusted, influential relationships across a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. With 2-4 years’ experience in an investment environment, you demonstrate a strong client‑focused approach to developing and delivering investment solutions and recommendations. You have a proven track record of managing projects end‑to‑end from conception through to completion, consistently meeting objectives and delivering outcomes. Complementing your broad property knowledge and commercial acumen, you present professionally and communicate with impact, with well‑honed presentation skills and the ability to clearly articulate ideas, insights and recommendations to varied audiences.
