Job Summary
As the Dr Squatch ANZ Business Development Manager, you will lead the commercial integration, launch readiness and retailer growth agenda for one of Unilever’s most exciting global acquisitions across Australia and New Zealand. This role will be the critical connector between Dr Squatch Global, Unilever ANZ cross-functional teams and key retail partners, ensuring the brand is set up to win commercially through the right portfolio, pricing, channel strategy, supply model, governance and execution discipline.

Key Responsibilities

  • Dr Squatch ANZ Commercial Strategy & Business Growth Model
  • Partner with Dr Squatch Global and Unilever ANZ teams to localise the business model, commercial strategy and launch roadmap for Australia and New Zealand.
  • Build a clear ANZ growth plan across priority core categories, limited editions, gifting, channels and retailers, translating global ambition into commercially executable local plans.

Customer, Category & Retailer Development

  • Lead retailer readiness across key ANZ customers, supporting sell-in, range review preparation and customer-specific growth plans.
  • Create standardised performance reporting, launch tracking and issue escalation processes to ensure strong commercial governance from day one.
  • Support customer conversations with clear recommendations on range, pricing, promotional strategy, distribution build and activation priorities.
  • Partner with Dr. Squatch Global and local Unilever teams to execute world-class retail displays, bringing the Dr. Squatch brand to life in-store and launching iconic Limited Editions with impactful retail theatre across Australia and New Zealand.

Operational Integration & Commercial Excellence

  • Own cross-functional launch readiness across supply chain, finance, customer, CSP, legal, regulatory and brand teams to ensure the business is operationally ready to scale.
  • Partner with Supply Chain and Finance to support demand planning, inventory readiness, COGS visibility, margin management and fuel-for-growth opportunities.
  • Identify risks, dependencies and unlocks early, driving pragmatic solutions that keep the integration and launch plan on track.

Key Requirements
Experience

  • Strong commercial experience, ideally in FMCG, customer development, category strategy or business development roles.
  • Proven track record in launching, scaling or integrating brands
  • Strong capability in category insight, P&L thinking and data-driven storytelling.
  • Experience working across global teams, time zones, and cultures, with the ability to build strong cross-functional partnerships and develop integrated business plans that align both global and local priorities.

  • Commercial Strategy & Business Development: Builds commercially robust growth plans across customers, channels, portfolio, pricing and investment
  • Customer & Category Leadership: Translates consumer, shopper and category insight into compelling retailer propositions and execution plans.
  • Data Literacy & Storytelling: Uses analytics to create clear recommendations, influence decisions and track performance against milestones.
  • Cross-Functional Integration: Connects global and local teams to drive launch readiness, solve issues and maintain strong governance.
  • Operational Discipline: Manages complexity across supply, finance, regulatory, customer and execution workstreams with pace and accountability.
