We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive the growth and market presence of iCIRT, a high profile and strategic focus at Equifax. The successful candidate will be responsible for actively hunting, generating leads, and growing the iCIRT customer base. ICIRT is an independent construction industry star-rating tool that offers assessment of building professionals across several key categories. Our customers benefit from insights that help reduce exposure to risk, reduce value impairment, improved confidence, and many other sustainable benefits.

What you will do:

  • Establish yourself as a trusted advisor to customers, fostering long-term relationships and proactively identifying opportunities for growth.

  • Develop and execute targeted sales strategies and campaigns for lead generation and conversion (predetermined criteria and market segments).

  • Identify and manage key senior relationships and decision-makers within target organisations, including government bodies and partners, and manage relevant stakeholder maps and intel records.

  • Conduct outbound calls to prospect and qualify potential leads, utilising effective communication skills to engage and build trust and rapport.

  • Develop business as a consultative specialist—working with consulting resources, you will assist clients to achieve their objectives by offering a range of products and solutions tailored to their needs and situation.

  • Connect and engage with industry networks, roadshows, and industry group forums, acting as an external representative for the iCIRT brand.

  • Collaborate with Product, Operations, Legal, and Compliance to ensure fit-for-purpose and competitive proposals are presented, sold, and operationalised.

  • Work with Product to define any customisation and enhancement understanding for delivery of bespoke solutions.

  • Keep abreast of market trends, legislative activity and environment changes.

What experience you need:

  • Demonstrated excellence and experience in B2B solution sales.

  • Expertise preferably in selling either data, analytics, insights, or technology solutions.

  • Proven interpersonal & consultative sales skills and experience; selling solutions to a range of customers, levels, and decision makers.

What could set you apart:

  • Building and Construction industry experience or interest is beneficial

  • Energy to drive sales and help build a business in a data analytics organisation going through significant change
