Why this role exists

The primary focus of this role is new business acquisition, which plays a pivotal part in driving organisational growth by identifying, engaging, and converting prospective clients to expand our footprint across Australia and New Zealand. The position centres on uncovering new market opportunities, establishing strategic relationships with key stakeholders, and effectively communicating the value of our solutions to address customer needs.

By generating high‑quality pipelines, nurturing leads, and securing impactful new partnerships, the Business Development Manager directly contributes to broadening our client base and strengthening our market presence across the ANZ region.

What you will do

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities by researching target markets, analyse trends, and proactively find potential clients or partnerships to drive revenue growth.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships with prospects, ensuring trust, satisfaction, and repeat business.
  • Develop sales strategies proposals creating tailored pitches, presentations, and proposals that address client needs and align with the company’s value proposition.
  • Collaborate across internal teams by closely with marketing, product, finance, and leadership teams to ensure proposals are feasible and aligned to business goals.
  • Negotiate and close deals from lead contract negotiations, manage commercial discussions, and push opportunities through the pipeline to successful closure.

What you’ll bring

  • Sales Forecasting & CRM Management:
    Provide accurate and timely sales forecasting through effective use of CRM tools, ensuring data integrity and actionable insights.
  • Relationship Building:
    Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders, including executive and C-level contacts, to acquire new business and foster long-term partnerships.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    Work closely with Professional Services, Marketing, and Product teams to align strategies and deliver a cohesive customer experience.
  • Market Intelligence:
    Stay updated on industry trends and the competitive landscape to identify new business opportunities and inform strategic decisions.
