We offer innovative products and services in Medical and Surgical, Neurotechnology, Orthopaedics, and Spine that help improve patient and healthcare outcomes. Alongside our customers around the world, Stryker impacts more than 100 million patients annually.

The Role

This is an opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager to join Stryker’s Public Access business in ANZ, focused on growing the AED (Automated External Defibrillator) market across key industries and enterprise customers.

You’ll take ownership of identifying, shaping and securing large-scale opportunities, building relationships across complex stakeholder groups, and driving adoption of Stryker’s AED solutions across new and existing verticals.

With a strong performance culture and a clear mandate for growth, this is a role with genuine autonomy—owning strategy end-to-end from market identification through to deal execution. You’ll operate at both a strategic and execution level, working on enterprise opportunities while playing a key role in expanding the Public Access AED market across ANZ.

This role suits someone comfortable navigating long sales cycles, influencing senior stakeholders, and driving commercial outcomes that create real impact—expanding access to life-saving technology across communities, workplaces and high-risk environments.

Think commercially: Structure solutions around customer needs, balancing pricing, contracts and long-term partnership value.

Work as one team: Partner with Sales, Marketing and distributor networks to deliver a coordinated and effective go-to-market approach.

What you’ll bring

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years experience in Business Development, Sales or a commercial role (track record of success)

  • Experience managing complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders and long lead times

  • Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking in identifying and shaping opportunities

  • Clear, confident communication with senior stakeholders and decision-makers

  • A track record of ownership, resilience and delivering results in competitive environments
