About the role

This role can be based in either South East QLD or Sydney NSW.

Bluecurrent is a leading provider of innovative smart metering services and solutions in New Zealand and Australia. As a B2B company, we partner with leading energy retailers and distributors in New Zealand and Australia.

Are you ready to make a real impact in the evolving metering and energy sector across Australia? We have an exciting opportunity for a driven Business Development Manager to support meter growth and sales, build long term strategic relationships, champion innovation, and contribute to a more sustainable future.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Win, maintain and expand and build relationships with relevant channel partners (boutique builders, Large-scale building groups, Field Service Providers etc.)
  • Expand and deliver the Bluecurrent proposition into both existing and new partners. Provide market insight through research of developing trends in energy markets, Australasia and globally
  • Assess and identify further market opportunities to support the growth of the Australian business.
  • Liaise with the commercial teams in the pre-sales, contract negotiation and bid management activities.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure that the day-to-day service delivery is in accordance with, or exceeds contractual expectation and customer satisfaction objectives are met.
  • Develop and execute customer account plans and provide pipeline reports for key strategic customers.
