Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing and project handover.

  • Collaborate with internal design and engineering teams to deliver high-quality tailored solutions.

  • Strengthen relationships with architects, specifiers, engineers, contractors, and councils.

  • Represent the company at meetings, site visits, and industry events.

  • Maintain structured CRM records and provide insight into market trends and opportunities.

What We’re Looking For

  • Someone who wants more growth, more responsibility, more exciting projects.

  • A proactive BDM who loves being on the road and building client relationships.

  • A problem-solver with a consultative, solutions-focused sales approach.

  • A team player who collaborates well with technical specialists.

  • Someone who takes pride in seeing their projects come to life in public spaces.

What We Offer

  • A strong pathway to future senior roles as the division grows.

  • Exposure to high-value lighting solutions

  • Backed by a Tier 1 national brand with local manufacturing.

  • Work with a multi-disciplinary team evolving toward smart lighting & controls.

  • Competitive salary + bonus structure.

  • Flexible work arrangements and autonomy to build your territory.

  • Health & wellbeing support, additional leave benefits, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

  • Currently working in the lighting or electrical industry (4+ years preferred).

  • Ready to step up into larger, more strategic project work.

  • Confident meeting with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Able to understand drawings, technical specs, and project requirements (training provided).

  • Strong communicator, relationship builder, and natural presenter.

  • Driven, ambitious, and keen to grow into a senior role over time.

  • Full working rights in Australia.
