About the role :

As a Business Development Manager, you will support the growth and expansion several vendor business at Ingram Micro. You will work closely with the vendors and the wider team to generate new Resellers and Managed Service Providers for the vendors, and create additional growth opportunities within those resellers.

Providing an exceptional level of commitment to customer service and supplying customers with quality engagement and solutions, along with collaborating with other specialised sales and technical associates within the Ingram Micro business, is key.

Your responsibilities

As a proactive and sales-focused professional who can build on existing and new sales opportunities, you will focus on building strong channel relationships to help drive growth for Ingram Micro and several vendors.

  • Driving channel growth across Unmanaged Reseller segments and developing revenue through the acquisition, management and maintenance of customers

  • Providing an exceptional level of commitment to customer service and supplying customers with quality industry solutions

  • Effectively manage and grow sales-associated opportunities nationally

  • Facilitating relationships between the vendors and resellers to cement our position as the distributor of choice

  • Pro-active Market Development, working with the customer to achieve all business and technology objectives.

Role requirements

  • Previous experience in the IT sales and distribution industry is preferable

  • The ability to develop solid relationships with existing resellers and bring on new customers to drive growth

  • Superior interpersonal and communication skills

  • Being persuasive in both written and oral presentations is a must

  • The ability to plan and implement development plans and business strategies

  • Ability to take ownership and operate autonomously
