About the role.
ANZ Business Development Manager –Solventum Dental Solutions. (NSW based/hybrid role)
Solventum is seeking a Business Development Manager to join our Dental Solutions business. In this role, you will lead the development of strategic partnerships and drive new business growth across key market segments.
We are looking for a commercially astute leader who can translate relationships, strategy, and innovation into sustainable revenue outcomes. You will play a critical role in expanding our market reach by building and managing partnerships across DSOs, government, mid-market customers, and other key industry segments.
As a sales leader, you will confidently articulate the value of Solventum’s dental solutions to key decisions makers including C-suite executives, business leaders, and academic stakeholders, creating mutually beneficial growth opportunities. You will also drive execution across government and clinical settings, while contributing as a collaborative and high-performing member of the broader commercial team.
This role will be an active member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), contributing to business strategy, cross-functional collaboration, commercial decision-making, and overall organisational performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic business development plan to deliver sustainable revenue growth and increased market share across DSO, government, university, mid-market, and other priority segments.
- Identify, engage, and grow key accounts by building strong relationships and delivering tailored, value-based solutions aligned to customer needs.
- Establish and manage strategic partnerships across DSOs, government, and key industry stakeholders to unlock new opportunities and drive mutual growth.
- Drive advocacy for Solventum and our suite of dental solutions within the defined customer group.
- Build, manage, and convert a robust pipeline of opportunities, ensuring consistent delivery against revenue targets.
- Lead complex commercial discussions with senior stakeholders, including C-suite decision-makers, articulating compelling value propositions, and influencing outcomes.
- Develop joint business plans with key partners to align strategies and accelerate growth initiatives.
- Leverage market insights and customer intelligence to identify emerging opportunities and inform go-to-market strategy.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, clinical, and leadership teams to ensure alignment and execution of commercial initiatives.
- Own forecasting, pipeline visibility, and performance tracking to maintain accountability and deliver results.
About You:
- 5+ years’ experience in business development, government/DSO engagement, or strategic partnership roles, with a proven track record of delivering sustained revenue growth in healthcare, dental or broader B2B/B2C environments.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and build credibility with C-suite executives, sales leaders, and academic decision-makers.
- Demonstrated success in managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles end-to-end, including negotiating and structuring strategic partnership agreements.
- Strong experience building and executing key account plans, while effectively managing and growing third-party and indirect channel relationships.
- Commercially astute, with the ability to identify, develop and convert high-value opportunities into long-term revenue streams.
- Ability to influence and align cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority to deliver commercial outcomes.
- Results-driven with a strong bias for action and accountability.
- Proficient in CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) for pipeline management, forecasting, and performance tracking.
- Advanced skills across Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), with experience in Power BI or similar analytics tools considered an advantage.
- Ability to travel as this is an ANZ role.
