As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and acquiring new business opportunities across Australia. Skills & Qualification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders at all levels.

  • Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and prioritize business opportunities.

  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple deadlines and priorities.

  • Proficiency in CRM software and other business development tools.

  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.

  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a focus on achieving shared goals and objectives.

  • Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Ability to travel within Australia, as required.

  • Availability to work outside of regular business hours, as required.

Responsibilities
  • Identify, engage, and acquire new business opportunities across Australia, through research, outreach, and relationship-building.

  • Build and maintain relationships with existing clients and stakeholders, to identify new business opportunities and expand existing relationships.

  • Develop and execute sales strategies, in collaboration with the sales team, to achieve business objectives and targets.

  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to client inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and operations, to identify and pursue business opportunities.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments, to inform business development strategies and decisions.

  • Develop and maintain accurate and timely sales reports, to track progress and identify areas for improvement.

  • Provide feedback and recommendations to the sales team, to improve sales strategies and performance.

  • Pursue and secure business opportunities, through negotiation and closing deals.

  • Lead by example, demonstrating a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a commitment to excellence in all aspects of the role.
