About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Manager, Finance Services – ANZ to drive the growth and adoption of Ingram Micro Financial Solutions (IMFS) across Australia and New Zealand (ANZ).

Reporting directly to the Regional IMFS Lead, APAC, this role serves as the commercial lead for IMFS across the ANZ market. The successful candidate will be responsible for expanding the local financing business by developing strategic relationships with technology vendors, resellers, funding partners and end users, while originating and converting financing opportunities that strengthen Ingram Micro's value proposition.

This is a highly autonomous business development role suited to an experienced commercial professional who enjoys building relationships, identifying opportunities and delivering business growth. Supported by regional specialists in strategic funding partnerships, transaction structuring, governance and operational execution, the Business Manager will lead local market development, manage day-to-day engagement with local funding partners, and drive the continued growth of IMFS across ANZ.

Key Responsibilities

ANZ Business Growth & Market Development

  • Drive the growth and adoption of IMFS across Australia and New Zealand by developing a sustainable pipeline of financing opportunities.

  • Develop and execute country growth strategies aligned with regional objectives, increasing financing penetration through technology vendors, resellers and end-user opportunities.

  • Identify emerging market opportunities, industry trends and financing initiatives to support the continued expansion of IMFS across the ANZ market.

Business Development & Customer Engagement

  • Develop trusted relationships with Ingram Micro sales teams, technology vendors, resellers and end users to originate and convert financing opportunities.

  • Engage key decision-makers across reseller and end-user organisations, including business owners, procurement leaders, finance executives and C-suite stakeholders, to understand business priorities and position IMFS as a strategic commercial solution.

  • Own opportunity development, stakeholder engagement and commercial progression throughout the sales lifecycle.

Vendor & Funding Partner Management

  • Develop and strengthen strategic relationships with technology vendors to increase awareness, adoption and utilisation of IMFS.

  • Partner with vendor sales, channel and alliance teams to integrate IMFS into go-to-market initiatives, identify financing opportunities and increase financing adoption through reseller channels.

  • Develop and maintain day-to-day relationships with local funding partners, acting as the primary commercial liaison to support financing opportunities, transaction execution and commercial collaboration.

  • Collaborate with the Regional IMFS team to leverage strategic vendor programmes and funding partnerships while identifying opportunities to expand financing programmes and commercial capabilities within ANZ.

  • Represent IMFS in vendor and funding partner business reviews, joint account planning, partner events and strategic customer engagements.

Sales Enablement & Market Development

  • Champion IMFS through sales enablement activities, customer presentations, partner workshops and market awareness initiatives.

  • Provide financing expertise, commercial guidance and market insights that enable sales teams and resellers to confidently position IMFS and identify new business opportunities.

  • Support financing-led initiatives that increase financing penetration, drive reseller adoption and generate sustainable pipeline growth.

Regional Collaboration & Opportunity Execution

  • Partner with regional IMFS specialists on complex opportunities, funding strategies, transaction structuring and programme implementation.

  • Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient opportunity progression, timely execution and an exceptional customer experience.

  • Share market intelligence, funding partner feedback and ecosystem insights to support regional growth initiatives and continuous improvement.

Business Planning & Performance Management

  • Maintain ownership of pipeline management, CRM, forecasting and business reporting, ensuring data integrity, forecast accuracy and timely progression of opportunities.

  • Provide regular updates on business performance, strategic opportunities, market developments and financing activities while ensuring compliance with internal governance, commercial policies and reporting requirements.

Who We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Commerce, Economics or a related discipline.

  • At least 10 years' experience in technology financing, vendor finance, equipment finance, IT distribution, channel sales, business development or related industries.

  • Strong understanding of the ANZ technology ecosystem, including technology vendors, value-added resellers (VARs), managed service providers (MSPs), systems integrators (SIs), channel go-to-market models and technology financing.

  • Proven ability to develop strategic relationships, originate new business opportunities and consistently deliver commercial growth.

  • Demonstrated success engaging and influencing senior decision-makers, including business owners, procurement leaders, finance executives and C-suite stakeholders.

  • Strong commercial acumen with experience managing complex commercial opportunities involving multiple internal and external stakeholders.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial and able to work independently within a matrix organisation.

  • Experience in technology financing, vendor finance, equipment leasing, financial services or IT distribution will be highly regarded.

  • Willingness to travel across Australia and New Zealand as required.

What Success Looks Like

Success in this role will be measured by the ability to grow the IMFS business across the ANZ market, build a sustainable pipeline of financing opportunities, strengthen strategic relationships with technology vendors, funding partners, resellers and end users, and contribute to Ingram Micro's continued growth through innovative financing solutions.
